I was chatting with a friend and former client yesterday. We’ll call her Sam.
Sam was sharing with me that a friend of hers was asking if she knew of a good mediums or intuitive people because she was stuck and feeling lost. Her friend was needing to find her purpose and get clear with what she was doing with her life.
I love that people/women are asking for help like this. I also love mediums, healers, witches, shamans and everything in between.
And my reply to Sam was that no medium, witch or healer can do the honest soul work we need to do for ourselves.
Yes, answers can be found in the Mystery of Life and that place where magic and spirit seem to live beyond time and space. I believe that without a doubt. And, the process of clarifying or re-clarifying one’s soul purpose is what I believe work we have to take up on our own.
Yes, mystics can help the process but they don’t know the depth, richness and magic of your soul like you do. I’m not shaming this woman in her reach for help nor am I shaming the beautiful work of the mystics. Actually, it sparked a deep compassion for her and maybe some sadness.
Not knowing where life is going, how it’s going or one’s involvement with that whole process can be absolutely painful, costly and confusing.
I told Sam to have her friend give me a call as I don’t want her to suffer anymore than she has to as there are tools and a path so she can regain clarity and a deep understanding of her purpose.
Knowing and feeling your life’s purpose and clarifying why you’re here on planet Earth, is some of the the most brilliant, challenging and rewarding work maybe other than raising small humans. I don’t have kids so I don’t really know but I can only image.
Often times we associate what we do for work (or to make money) as our purpose but that can be tricky because what happens if you lose your job or fall out of love with the work you’re doing. Then what?
I personally think 1% of the population are lucky or crazy enough to turn what they do for work into their life’s purpose.
I personally had this experience (losing my purpose) while on sabbatical which threw me into a very dark place for a very long.
For most of my professional life — working with you as a coach — I found my purpose in life through my career which was amazing. But while being on sabbatical (and not working), I had lost my purpose and it was not good at all.
It was months, if not a good year of deep soul agony to the point where I thought life was pointless and none of it mattered. I was questioning my existence and it got dark.
I spent months crying and begging for help or change, and the help I needed seemed to take a long ass time to show up.
So I get it.
Knowing why you’re here, like why you’re really here living on Earth, can be a dizzying thing to ponder and a lot of people especially now are having these big questions.
So, I created a path or solution to a very painful problem.
15 years working with women all over the world plus my own deep questioning as to the purpose of it all helped me create Foundations: this is my flagship program that helps you do three key things…
First, gain confidence where you need it the most. Second, define your life’s purpose outside of the context of your career. Third, gain precise clarity with what you want and where you want to go now from this newfound place of expansion, clarity and intention.
If you’d like to learn more, click here for the Foundations course (and community).
It worked on my own life, and it’s helped hundreds of women around the world since 2008 finally get unstuck.
I want you to have the best possible outcome in life whatever that looks like.
